"RtR transforms outdoor education by turning professional bikes into dynamic STEM learning tools. We bridge the classroom and the trail through three core pillars:
Ride for character and discovery, Tech for applied physics and engineering, and Repair for practical logic. Real-world skills, learned in motion."

RtR STEM Program:
Where Adventure Meets Engineering
The "RtR" (Ride-Tech-Repair) Program is a pioneering educational initiative designed specifically for international schools, transforming the stunning karst landscape of Yangshuo into a dynamic outdoor classroom.
Moving beyond traditional outdoor excursions, the RtR program utilizes the bicycle not just as a mode of transport, but as a complex mechanical instrument for STEM learning. We have developed a unique, integrated curriculum that fuses physical challenge with hands-on engineering:
RIDE
The Moving Classroom
This module is designed to be much more than a scenic tour. Led by our elite coaching staff, which includes former National and Provincial Team athletes, the "Ride" is a structured physical education lesson set against the breathtaking backdrop of Yangshuo’s karst peaks. Students don't just follow a guide; they are taught professional cycling techniques, from energy conservation and cadence control to safe group riding protocols (drafting) and descending skills. Our curated routes, which avoid main roads for safety, are designed to challenge students physically, building grit, resilience, and a sense of achievement as they conquer the landscape together. It’s about mastering one’s body and mind in a dynamic outdoor environment.

TECH
The Engineering Behind the Motion
In the "Tech" module, we turn the bicycle into a tangible STEM laboratory. Under the guidance of our specialized technicians, students dive deep into the mechanical principles that make cycling possible. They move beyond simply riding to understanding how it works. We break down complex concepts into understandable lessons, exploring the physics of gear ratios and mechanical advantage—why certain gears make climbing easier. They will investigate friction, braking systems (hydraulic vs. mechanical), and frame geometry. This theoretical component encourages critical thinking, allowing students to see the real-world application of physics and engineering principles they learn in the classroom.
Hands-on Problem Solving
The "Repair" module is where theory meets practice in our professional workshop. This is an empowerment session designed to build practical confidence and self-reliance. Students get their hands dirty, learning essential mechanical skills from Shimano-certified technicians. They move past the fear of a mechanical breakdown by learning how to fix a flat tire in under five minutes, how to properly clean and lubricate a drivetrain for optimal performance, and how to perform basic derailleur adjustments. This hands-on experience teaches methodical troubleshooting, patience, and the immense satisfaction of diagnosing and fixing a mechanical problem with their own two hands.

More Than a Rental
A Transformative Learning Journey
The CEC RtR Program is fundamentally different from a standard bike rental because we don’t just provide equipment; we provide education.
A rental shop hands you a bike and a map, and you're on your own. We provide a fully integrated, professional learning ecosystem. We leverage our 25 years of industry expertise to surround students with elite athletes, certified engineers, and a structured curriculum. We transform a fun activity into a deep, multi-disciplinary learning experience that builds physical resilience, intellectual curiosity, and practical life skills.
We don't just rent bikes; we use bikes to teach students how to explore the world, understand how it works, and fix problems when they arise.
