Introduction:
The Allez Sprint is the odd one out in a carbon-heavy fleet, and riders who try it usually come back impressed. Specialized hydroformed the bottom bracket and down tube from a single piece of alloy and moved the welds to where they help, which is why an aluminium frame can feel this stiff under a sprint. It borrows its aero shaping from the Tarmac, so it holds speed better than an alloy bike has any right to. Rougher-edged than carbon over bad tarmac, and a lot of fun when the road is good.
