The Tarmac SL7 is Specialized's all-round race bike — the one to take when you want a single bike that climbs and sprints equally well. Its FACT 10r carbon frame is engineered size by size rather than scaled from one mould, so a small frame is built to ride like a large one, not simply to look like it. On the long climbs around Yangshuo it rewards a steady tempo; on a fast group ride it has the stiffness to answer an attack.
