Introduction:
The XTC is Giant's cross-country hardtail, and the 800 is the practical end of that range: an aluminium frame, a suspension fork at the front and nothing at the back to maintain. That makes it efficient on climbs and easy to live with on gravel tracks, forest roads and the mixed surfaces a countryside ride actually throws at you. Hydraulic disc brakes give the same lever feel wet or dry, which matters more than it sounds after a morning of rain. Available in M and L, listed for riders around 168 to 192 cm.
