Introduction:
Decathlon's RC500 is the definition of a sensible road bike: an aluminium frame with endurance geometry, a drop bar, and tyres wide enough that a patch of broken tarmac is not an event. The riding position is higher and more relaxed than a race bike, which is what makes a full day in the saddle pleasant rather than something to survive. Ours is fitted with a carbon wheelset, so it is livelier than the standard build. A good choice for recreational riders on riverside roads and moderate climbs.
