The S-Works Tarmac SL8 is the fastest bike we rent, and the one Specialized built to end the old argument between an aero bike and a climbing bike. The FACT 12r carbon frame is light enough to take up a long climb and shaped to hold speed on the flat, and the fit is properly aggressive — this is a race bike, not an endurance one. Our unit is built with Shimano Ultegra Di2, which shifts as quickly as the top-tier groupset for a fraction of the fuss. One frame size, and best for experienced riders.
