Introduction
The Specialized Amira Sport is a dedicated performance carbon road bike built around Specialized's FACT 9r carbon layup and Women's Competitive Geometry. Rather than simply fitting a shorter stem to a standard frame, the Amira uses a custom carbon layup, a tapered 1-1/8" to 1-3/8" head tube for precise cornering, and shallow-drop handlebars (123 mm drop, 75 mm reach) so riders with smaller hands can reach the Shimano 105 2x11 brake and shift levers comfortably from the drops. Light, stiff under out-of-the-saddle acceleration, and paired with a compact 50/34T crankset and 11–28T cassette, it is a nimble climber for Beijing's Western Hills passes—from the steady gradients of Tanzhe Temple to fast morning laps along the Olympic Forest Park and Chang'an Avenue.
